The new London Midland franchise has been won by West Midlands Trains Ltd which is 70% owned by Abellio and 30% by East Japan Trains (Mitsui).
Just to remind everyone that West Midlands Trains Ltd has taken over from London Midland today.

There's going to be two different brands for two different business units. WM Trains will run the local services in the Midlands using trains in a purple and orange livery, while LNWR will run the WCML services, including Liverpool to Birmingham using a green and grey livery. They have separate websites and separate Twitter handles.
