A post on Facebook by 'Arriva Green Lane Depot' states the ballot was done and that stoke will be happening on Thursday 19th, Monday 23rd and Monday 30th October. Whether this is true or not, i would like to know. Confirmation would be appreciated
Stagecoaches first date is the 14th october then if if what ive heard is correct then it will be a joint strike on the 19th , 23rd and 30th of october.
Given all the rail strikes happening at the moment, I do wonder whether we are going to see this generations winter of discontent.
One thing to note...

Arriva its all Merseyside Depots (dont think Manchester or Winsford/Runcorn are incuded) as there all on same pay deal.

With Stagecoach its just Gillmoss so Preston, Rock Ferry and Chester will operate as normal as all seperate pay deals
Runcorn is apparently in on this strike. Stagecoach it is only Gillmoss but Arriva it is all MErseyside + Runcorn (for some odd reason).
Quote:A Unite spokesman said any action would affect depots in Runcorn, St Helens, Speke, Green Lane, Birkenhead, Bootle and Southport.
Runcorn is ran under the Merseyside banner i believe
Runcorn was previously under the North West licence but transferred to Merseyside few years ago. I presume staff pay and conditions mirror the ops licence areas.
Arriva depots on strike will be :
Wythenshawe, Macclesfield , winsford ,
bolton , runcorn , st helens , speke ,
Green lane , bootle , birkenhead and southport.
Runcorn is run under manchester so is on the northwest licence but on the same pay as merseyside.
