MTL0201 didnt crosville operate for a time a route numbered C6 which operated from Ellesmere Port to Liverpool via Port Sunlight and Derby Road (Tranmere).
This I think was at a time when they was experimenting with the services along Derby Road .
Derby Road is a strange road busy for passengers during the daytime but come night you would struggle to fill a car let alone a bus or minibus.

Don't remember the C6, but wouldn't be surprised that Crosville operated such a route, & don't forget there had just been a bus war with Busmans Buses, which is why some Merseytravel routes were operated by Busmans Buses.
Come to think of it think the Merseybus 66/66A was a responce for the C6, i remember when the 66/66A was introduced Merseybus had a special offer of a free service only on the 66/66A for the first couple of weeks it was introduced,

I also remeber that the 66/66A and 9C/10C had special cheap fares then of 65p single adult and £1.08 return , they was real cheap compared to the crosville fares of the time .
In Wallasey what was the difference in route of the 14 and 16 im sure both operated from Seacombe to New Brighton .
Think some of the old routes are the inspiration of the present Impera routes.
