From uk-buses.co.uk I have found that 36641-36669 are on order for Barking, I believe that these are part of the 2016-017 order as no 10.5m Enviro 200 MMCs are on order for 2017-18?

They are at Hastings as of April but maybe are being transferred to replace older buses or for a new service?

No, part of the 2017/8 order but they've not announced any of the London portion. Probably pointless as it would give away the fact that most tenders have been lost this time round, plus there's always several tranches throughout the year.
I was in the Shudehill area on Wednesday and saw routes 112, 114 & 118 mainly using the new Enviro 400-MMCs.

I expect 26141-45 at Stockport to be for route 325, although route 313 or 314 is possible.

I was at Shudehill yesterday afternoon, they were also on the 156 as well as the other stated routes.

They registered the new service 3 on the day Thamesdown was acquired, so they had that ready to go up against whoever bought the company.

As for other areas, competition isn't that intensive between Stagecoach and Go Ahead - in Oxford there is the Quality Bus Partnership, meaning timetables are co-ordinated and tickets are valid on either operator. And in Newcastle, the impression I get is that co-existence is peaceful.

May I just ask how you found out about the 55 increase? I have found the Vehicle Operator Licensing site but can only seem to find about when changes are happening, no specifics! On another transport-related site I also saw rumours about a 55 increase to Royal Wootton Bassett with buses from Cheltenham or Gloucester. If anyone could please lead me to the source of changes and how to find out what is happening I would be most pleased (looking for Stagecoach in Swindon and Stagecoach Oxfordshire changes in particular, not the dates but what they are changing to the most specific detail!) Thanks Smile
