I have heard it all now, a 59 year old Ship going from Liverpool - Llandudno? not a chance!

Not a chance? We shall see. If they raise the money I will be on board.
Don't forget that the Waverley that normally does the run each tear was launched in 1949 which makes her 68 years old!
If they got the money and managed to get the service running i would give it a go, i just cant see them getting the money required

Im part of the volunteer crew onboard Daniel Adamsonwhich is a 114 year old steam tug tender and we have just done our first trip to Salford Quays under steam with fare paying passengers so is there still not a chance for a 59 year old Diesel ferry
I think this could work out if they can get the funding. There's clearly a drive to make it happen so hopefully we'll hear more about it in the future

Did you need to raise 3 million to do it tho as this is whats making me think it would not take off?
White funnel ferries runs a Liverpool to Llandudno sailing a few times over the summer season using the MV Balmoral a 68 year old excursion ship. It's a very popular service and quite often attracts loads of around 400-500 passengers.
