Liscard Bus Stops Improvement Programme
Merseytravel is working in partnership with Wirral Borough Council to improve public transport in the Liscard area. Our aim is to improve the comfort and convenience of bus travel for all passengers.

These improvements will ensure that buses can pull in parallel to the kerb so that disabled people and passengers with mobility issues have step free access. This is a requirement of the Equalities Act 2010.

It is anticipated that the proposed work will commence in February 2017 and take approximately twelve weeks. The work will be done in phases and it will be necessary to relocate bus stops to temporary locations during each phase of the work.
The first improvement should be stopping the large number of cars parking in the bus stops on Wallasey Road

traffic wardens could have a field day booking the lazy buggers going to McDonalds and blocking the bus stops,is it hunger blindness when they park in a buses and taxis only area.
