Seems that the signalling has gone completely on the Down side of the East Coast mainline (away from london).
Looking at the section that seems to have failed this could very well be a problem related to cables yet again , this area seems to be very prone to cable theft recenty.

Not cable theft...
It appears that we have been unlucky enough to be affected by two separate faults one affecting each line, there is a chance that a common cable links them, but they are being addressed separately.
S&T are making a cable bypass that should allow normal signalling on the Down Slow before long. TBW is in force on the DS to allow some movement of traffic, trains are queueing approx 90 minutes and then taking 20 to pass through the section.
There is also a TCF at Newark. Services to be cautioned on both the Down and Up lines.
91125 plus DVT 82216 plus its carriages have been given an overall advert for Sky HD.
A new footbridge with lift and step access is being built at the north end of Wakefield Westgate station. The barrow crossing at the south end of the station will no longer need to be used for wheelchairs, prams etc.
