Not to sure how many Bolton have got but at least 5 Presidents have been out in service today, 2 were on 715s and I saw another one heading into Wigan about 16:40 with another seen in Bolton on 534s

Bolton have 4170, 4171, 4173, 4174 and 4176 with at least three more due shortly Smile

Thank you to you and everyone who has contributed observations of these DLPs in service. I shall watch out for one next time I am in the area.
Apart from 362 and 541 for obvious reasons the DLPs could find there way onto virtually any Bolton Depot service, in fact they could find there way onto 575s to/from Wigan as there's a couple of peak duties on 575 that do 575 Bolton-Wigan then 575 Wigan-Bolton instead of doing a round trip on 362 inbetween
I went to Bolton today. It seemed that all 534s were Volvo B5TLs. Thankfully I did track down and ride ex-London DLP69, now Arriva North West 4171, on route 535. I was pleased it still had its London number at the front. A nice touch is that this is the first refurbished long DLP I have used (ex-London route 29), as the refurb DLP I did in London in 2010 (on route 307) was a short one.
What would be the best service to get ALX400 DAF's on?

Thanks,
LH.

Thanks,
LH.

I was in Bolton last Monday 3rd and saw only one DAF DD in service, 4173 on a 535/537 circuit. All other Arriva duties were SD worked though 4063 was parked up in the Bus Station all the time I was there. The depot was packed with DAFs, both DLAs and DLPs. I could see 6 more DLPs, 4170/2/4/6/7/9 and there was at least one other in the yard at the side of the depot. There were 13 identifiable DLAs in the depot and the two yards on either side of Folds Road.

Does anyone know the Schools requirement at Arriva Bolton?
Bolton now have 4170/71/73/74/75/76/77/79/80/81 in service. Still expected are 4172 and 4178.

I have six DLAs down as still allocated: 4031, 4058, 4062, 4063, 4065 and 4093. There are no verified sightings of 4031 for a long while though, so can anyone confirm the present DLA situation at Bolton, please?

See my earlier post number 643. 4172 was in the yard on 3 February. The 14 DLAs that I could identify were 4018/26/27/29/30/31/57/62/63/65/76/79/89 and 4093. 4027 has subsequently moved to Winsford. I could not identify 4058 which is allocated but there were one or two DLAs that I could not identify.

There will I am sure have been other movements since 3 February.
What is the registration of 4172 please? It seems to have evaded me.
