last i heard only 8 hybirds are here with the other 3 due by the end of the week, 7621 is to be withdrawn from service when they come
Think I must have seen most of the Hybrids yesterday evening between 17:20 and 17:35 as firstly I spotted about 4 within a couple of minutes of each other Brookhouse bound on Cromwell Road, then I spotted another 2 on Blackfriars Road heading to Brookhouse and another one heading towards Shudehill on Deansgate, traffic problems caused by additional traffic heading to Man Utd match last night were causing delays to services with bunching like I've already said
last 3 hybrids due today
this is just depot talk but i will post as i think theres a good chance of it happening, whats been said is arriva bolton are on about withdrawing a mon-fri morning trip and afternoon trip on the 715 to fit in with a school run so the depot PVR can drop by 1 this will make a DAF decker on the 715 daily (if it happens!)
Sounds like going back to Bluebus days then with 715 as when Bluebus operated the route one 715 in the afternoon used to operate as a another service from Bolton-Wigan, it used to do the 715 route from Wigan-Wingates before missing out Westhoughton and continuing along Manchester Road then back on route at Chew Moor Lane/St Johns Road until Ladybridge where it used to call in to Dean School and then come out and continue along 715 route too Bolton.
Hybrid 4496 on the 534 today, oh dear.........
4501 was also on the 534s. Route 10 only needs 6 buses on Saturdays.
I shall be disappointed when 7621 is wihdrawn. I hope it replaces a Pointer elsewhere.
I am encouraged that the B5LHs are now in service on route 10. Do they operate daily ie on Sundays and Bank Holidays too?
