Routes aren't converted to Sapphire because they "fit in" with other Sapphire routes at a particular depot. Refurbishing vehicles to that standard is expensive and there has to be a good case for converting the route to Sapphire. I don't think the 10 has a strong case for conversion to Sapphire compared to a route like the 47 between Liverpool and Southport

Those Pulsar 2s are a downgrade in capacity but they're not that much older (except the 59-reg 3011) than the buses they replaced
From 29th January the 575 trips on Sundays that finish at Horwich are extended to Wigan meaning the full route will operate every 30 minutes, the 23:05 Monday to Saturday trip on the 362 from Wigan is extended to Chorley
From September Arriva Bolton have won the 510 and 519 Mon - Sat evening and 484 Service

DLP 4180 is due on loan here while 3129 and 2827 are repaired following RTAs

Pretty sure i seen 2517 here today
It's been at Bolton a while
2522 is now at Bolton
Its on loan while the MAN Myllenniums are fitted with Assault Screens

Have there been incidents at Bolton for this to be needed, or is it just being rolled out to every depot?
