Leven Valley have an alx200 in stock, don't know about it's reg because i quickly saw it at mill lane bus stop on route 45! Teesside really is becoming a home for ALX buses!

The reg is Y10DPC but it's reportedly due to be re-registered as it is currently on private plates.

Thanks for the Information, I was suprised seeing it. Earlier on I saw a procters recovery van carrying a bus on Belasis avenue - i was much more interested in the recovery van so i havent a clue what it was carrying or where it was going. Came back about an hour later without the bus.
Classic Coaches

Just want to pass on my thoughts to the family and colleagues of the driver tragically killed in the Alps coach crash.. Rest in Peace.

hi all, I have been passed some interesting information from a friend regarding former sure start Optare Excel X309 CBT, It is now apparently back in the possesion of Redcar and Cleveland Council at their dormanstown depot after being away for a considerable amount of time having being extensively refurbished internally with modern seating, new flooring, lighting, CCTV, front rear and side Hanover LED displays and also passenger CCTV Monitors similar to those fitted to newer Go Northeast vehicles. Im a little unsure as to what kind of work this vehicle will see as it seems to big for the town service work they undertake in loftus and guisborough and a tad excessive for their local link work carried out on a night, Somthing new and perhaps a little out the ordinary to look forward to seeing on the road though none the less im sure you will agree.

Pygalls Service 230, operating between Hartlepool & Sunderland will cease operation on 26 July 2013.

Another case of 'major operator pulls out, locals cry, independent jumps in and fails' ultimately costing independent operator a fair bit of money to do so.
News from the far north of the area. Perryman's have won five-year contracts for several key corridor services in the Scottish Borders with affect from August 12th, following a retendering round by Scottish Borders Council.

The services won by Perryman's are:

20, Kelso - Jedburgh - Hawick, Sundays only (current operator: Munro's of Jedburgh)

51/52, Edinburgh - Jedburgh/Kelso, daily (current operator: Munro's of Jedburgh)

60, Galashiels - Duns - Berwick, Rail Link service, daily (current operator: First Scotland East)

67, Galashiels - Kelso - Coldstream - Berwick, daily (Perryman's currently operate this service so it is a contract retention)

68, Galashiels - Jedburgh, daily (current operator: Munro's of Jedburgh)

Perryman's have bought the Munro's depot in Jedburgh and are in the process of recruiting drivers ahead of the contract start dates. They are also in the process of shopping for new vehicles for the contracts won.
