• The first Dart to be operated by a Liverpool based bus company was Blue Triangles K911 OEM.  This to have later been reregistered to K46 BTC, but never took place.  Upon purchase of the company by MTL in late 1994, it gained the fleet number 7411.  It remained in Blue Triangle livery for some time, allocated to the then Merseyrider Speke garage, its current allocation.  It subsequently gained MTL Merseyrider livery, then MTL Merseybus, MTL North and now Arriva.  This along with Blue Triangles newer Dart K955 PBG, were the first two Darts to be operated by MTL.  They often worked the ex Blue Triangle route 67, along with MTL's B6s, but upon scrapping of that route, they generally operated the 35.  Since Arriva have operated the company they could be found on nearly any Speke route, but they seemed to become common on the 79.

•This Dart was renumbered in March 2001 to 1272 and reallocated to Skelmersdale!

•As MTL initially didn't seen to like the Dart, considering its decision to but 50 Volvo B6s, it seemed quite odd at the time that MTL were one of the first operators of Dennis Dart SLFs in the country.  Indeed, its first two, 7531 N531 DWM & 7532 N532 DWM are some of very few N reg SLFs built.  They were originally allocated to St Helens and later Birkenhead, Warrington, Runcorn and are now at Rhyl.  MTL were obviously very pleased with them, as by the time they sold to Arriva there fleet consisted of the following types & quantities of Darts.
