Welcome to Production PEP, the website for the Class 313, 314, 315, 507 and 508 family of electric multiple unit trains in the UK.
Built between 1976 and 1981 at British Rail's York works, a total of 217 train sets and 755 vehicles were constructed and can still be found operating around London, Liverpool, Glasgow and Brighton to this day. The aim of the site is to chronicle the extensive history of the fleet and keep up-to-date with the latest developments as they approach the end of their working life.
Updates
The last update to the site was on Friday 23 May 2014.
Updated: Merseyrail 2003 and 2014 livery pages and fleet surveys for all five classes added.
